CAT BUST (MILO)
Paper mache sculpture using recycled material & monoprint collage, Spring 2019
ABOUT MILO:
The bust of my kitty Milo implements upcycling through adding value to what would otherwise be considered as useless.
To create the structure I used a variety of found materials such as; a plastic container, newspaper, cardboard, plastic bags & a lot of tape. His tabby coat was created by tearing up some monoprints and collaging them to the structure.
Other materials: 2 buttons I found on a walk home, an eyeglass cleaning cloth & ribbon, and plastic wire.
