MONOPRINT FANS

ABOUT & pROCESS:
I’ve recently been on a Victorian kick so it seems logical that my next step would be a hand-made fan.
I created the organic designs on the fans using the monotype technique. This involves inking up a surface & a variety of materials to get shapes or textures and layering them. I then cut out the fan using a stencil, folded & attached the paper to the sticks.
